How do I reset my EPACES password?
There are a few steps that you need to take to successfully complete this:
1. First go to Trans & Claims
2. NYS Medicaid
3. Doctor setup
4. Write down the Epaces User name and your current Epaces PW
5. Go to www.emedny.org
6. Click on Login EPACES
7. Enter in your current User Name and Password (remember it's case sensitive)
8. You will be prompted to change your password. Please make sure you use at
least 1 uppercase letter and 1 number. Do NOT make the password longer than
8 characters.
9. Update the password in Sammy under Trans and Claims, NYS Medicaid,
Doctor setup
10.If you have an X-File we will need to reset that
11. Go to Trans and Claims
12. NYS Medicaid
13. NYS Medicaid NPI Claims Processing
14. Resubmit a batch of Claims
15. Select the top file (this is the newest file)
16. Click on the green resubmit and say Ok and Ok again
17. NYS Medicaid NPI Claims Processing
18. Send out my Claims, do it (if you have an x-file ignore it it has your old password)
19. You have a file that has not yet been transmitted, say Yes
20. Send them
