Florida Medicare Password Reset

Florida Medicare Passwords

Your Florida Medicare password is going to expire every 60 days. Please make sure you have Medicare Program Version V1.2.1111 or higher. (Verify this by clicking on "Trans & Claims", "Medicare & Others". The version is on the upper left of this window).

Follow these steps to find your current password and then create a new one.

1. On the Medicare transmit screen, click "Options for Florida Medicare." Note your current password on the line reading "Update Florida Medicare Password: XXXXXXXX."

2. Go to the following website: http://medicare.fcso.com/Gateway/

Click on the link to get to the password reset screen. Enter your mailbox #
and your current password (ALL CAPITALS). Create a new password.
It must be 8 characters long (ALL CAPITALS) and contain both letters and numbers.

3. Go back to the Medicare transmit screen. Click "Options for Florida Medicare." Then click "Update Medicare Password." Follow the prompts on the screen and when asked, enter your NEW Medicare password carefully. Sammy will ensure that it is 8 characters long and will make sure it is in capital letters. When you have finished, everything that needs your new password will have it. If you had an X-File, go ahead and send it. If not, you can immediately send/receive claims and reports.
